This is a beautiful quality chambray, a yarn-dyed woven with a unique content blend of hemp, organic cotton and a small percentage of elastic. It's a lovely, substantial shirting weight or dressweight with cottony crispness in the drape and about 5% give in the width. The deep indigo blue and white yarns combine for a subdued, mottled look. The reverse looks the same. It is opaque and malleable with a soft, dry hand. Perfect for a shirt, shirt-dress, tunic, breezy pants, capris, shorts, etc. Machine was cold and dry on no higher than medium heat.
